Ethiopia or Bust

Hello Ethiopia!

It’s early Friday morning and we’ve finally landed from our 13 hour flight.  And after watching an old Nicole Kidman movie and a few episodes of Pawn Stars I can whole heartedly say I’m glad to be on land. Although I’m only experiencing the airport, I like Ethiopia. The native people I’ve met seem to move at a bit slower pace with a more relaxed style, and I like that. They are also beautiful. The women have the most gorgeous skin and deep brown eyes. It’s refreshing to see a change of people. I think it is just starting to hit me that I’m no longer in America, and I won’t be for over 5 weeks. Anyone who knows the worry wart in me knows that I’m freaking out (for lack of better words.)  I keep giving myself little pep-talks. I’m not certain if they are working, but it’s the thought that counts.

So now it’s just a 2 hour flight to Kampala, Uganda! Off we go!
